I know that sounds like an obvious thing to say. But a lot of Kickstarter campaigns are funding something that hasn’t been written yet. The Legendary Vol. 1 is complete. Professionally copy-edited. Formatted for print and digital. If you backed this today, the book exists and it’s ready.

WHAT’S COMING FOR BACKERS:

The stretch goal bonus chapter — “The Vegan Marauder” — is written and ready. It’s a full prose episode that doesn’t appear anywhere else yet. It will be the first part of Volume 2 and is not included in other print or digital versions available on Amazon. If we hit our stretch goal, every backer gets it. It introduces one of the most unhinged and weirdly lovable characters in the entire universe.

WHY I BUILT THIS:

In 2002 I joined a game called City of Heroes. Over the next decade the people I met there became my actual family. When the game shut down we had a choice — let those stories fade, or preserve what we built together.

The Legendary is that preservation. Frank King, Wynd, Take, Wish Girl — these are real people who gave me permission to tell their stories. The trauma in these pages is processed, not performed. The friendships are documented, not invented.

This is mythology built from actual love.
